中川昭一はアメリカに嫌われていた。
アメリカに対し堂々と「てめぇの不始末のケリはてめぇで着けろ」と言い放ち、
「今まで散々自由市場主義を押し付けてきたくせに、いざとなったらバイアメリカンでは困る」と
苦言を呈した。
「日本は属国」くらいに思っていた米国側からすれば、腹に据えかねる相手だ。
おまけに狙っていた日本の外貨準備１００兆円の一部を勝手にＩＭＦに融資してしまった。

さて、その融資の調印式での中川昭一の不可解な行動である。
最大の疑問点は「なぜ周りは止めなかったのか」であろうと思う。
同行していたのが判明しているのは、読売新聞記者で”アンチ麻生の急先鋒”越前谷知子氏。
そして、財務省の玉木林太郎局長。
玉木氏の経歴を見るとこう書かれている。
「駐米公使を経て０６年国際局次長」

あ。
今、みんなの頭を過ぎったのは、あくまで想像のお話。
